The first edition of the Barcelona Games World has captivated the public and has exceeded their organizers expectations

The Fira de Montjuïc of Barcelona hosted the event that videogame lovers were waiting eagerly, the Barcelona World Games. The salon has exceeded 120.000 visitors during its four opening days, as reported by the event organizers. Barcelona Games World has announced major developments over the coming years and all the major brand were present in there.

The salon has not only hosted important presentations but also hosted the finals of competitions such as the Official Playstation eSports League, the League of Professional VideoGames, Game and Nintendo, among others. It is no wonder, then, that there have been held more than 480,000 games in about 1,000 gaming terminals that were available to the public. An enthusiasm for video games that is becoming more than confirmed in the Barcelona World Games because this has been the event with more visitors in its category in Spain (121,980) and has exceeded the expectations of its organizers, who were around 90,000 visitors.

During these four days, visitors of the Barcelona Games World were able to meet in person the head of the mythical fighting saga game Tekken, Katsuhiro Harada; the director of Final Fantasy XV, Hajime Tabata and the voice actor for the protagonist of the famous Nintendo video games, Mario (Charles Martinet). In conclusion, the salon was an experience that undoubtedly is expected to be repeated next year.
